Sun, 23 April 2006 I interviewed Jeff twice for this interview. He is getting better everyday.A Life of Play is progressing far faster than any Podcast I have seen. Jeff has just fininshed and posted episode 4 and was lucky enough to get his second interview done. Head over to A Life of Play to hear the episode and make sure you subscribe in iTunes. I can now start on my next topics which will be promoting and making money from your podcast. THat will be in episode 8 and we'll bring Jeff along for this one. Wed, 5 April 2006 Episode 6: Jeff off and RunningSponsor: Try GotoMeeting for Free at http://gotomeetings.com/techroundtable Jeff joins us once again. His homework is done and we get to hear ten minutes of his first episode. Make sure you head over to http://alifeofplay.com to subscribe to his podcast. With jeff making strides I am beginning my search for my next future podcaster. Send in emails to petersmactips@gmail.com. Sound quality of the interview portion was marginal at best. Jeff and I did two interview which were lost due to different glitches with iChat and Garageband 3. This on has poor audi, however, I was unwilling to lose a third interview so I did my best to clean it up. I will solve this issue in the future. Send in comments and feedback. In this episode we speak with Jeff Cutler who wishes to porduce a new podcast, and Lori Abrams Rauchwerge who currently has the dogcast at dogsbylori.com .
The legnth of the podcast is a bit long, however, I will be sure to keep the legnth down in the future. Both of these people have great content, so lets see if we can give them a hand.
In the future I will split the show in two, one podcast for Jeff and one for Lori.
In the end is a brief overview of what we know so far to be the necessary items, programs, services and skills needed to produce a podcast

Sun, 12 March 2006 This episode discusses Hosting services and Feed Creation Utilities. The podcast is about to kick into gear. Many have written that the slow posting of podcasts concerns them. No worries. Podcasting Mac Style will be kicking out weekly podcasts and tips very soon.
Hosting services for the beginner are many. For the abosolute beginner who uses a Mac I suggest .Mac. .Mac and the use of Garageband 3 make it extremely easy to create and publish a podcast. Check out .mac for the countless other features it provides you.
Liberated Syndication, Libsyn, is a service for beginners and experts. It offers a low cost hosting of your audio files and unlimited bandwidth. Of course if you have as many listeners as TWiT you'll bring the service some hurting. The best part of Libsyn are all the stats they give you, but stats are something to talk about later. Check out Libsyn.
As far as Feed Creation Programs go, listen to the show. Here are the three I go over. There are others out there. THese are just some that I feel are easy to use and full of features that a Podcaster will love.
That is all for this episode. Send comments to petersmactips@gmail.com or Skype me at petersmactips. Remember to leave comments at the website.
